The Art of the Barber team is made up of highly skilled barbers who have mastered their craft in various NYC institutions.

Our focused approach and detailed technique have led us to become one of the most sought-after barbershops in Queens and to open our second location in Court Square.

 

Art of the Barber (AOTB) is dedicated to empowering our clients to look and feel like they can conquer the world.   With the highest quality service and care, our team looks to their craft as an art form—and provides cutting edge grooming services bespoke to each client’s individual need.

In both locations, we’ve created more than just a place for a cut and a shave, but a place where one can step into a classic 'Old World' style barber experience.

 

 

 

Our sustainable shop was created mostly from reclaimed wood and vintage style tiles

by Joel Voisard, our master millwork artist extraordinaire to bring you back to another

era.

​

Our barber team consists of Morales, a true man of his trade, Master Barber, who brings

with him 40+ years in the barber business.  In addition to our

various Signature Haircut services, Morales also offers Scalp

Micropigmentation, which is a natural, non-invasive and

affordable solution for receding hairlines, alopecia and other

hair loss concerns. 

Simon (Dmitri), who is also a top-notch favorite, is at the shop and focuses on all types of hair. 

We are also excited to have Ayumi, (featured in numerous Japanese publications), provide her craft to our regulars.  She has an amazing grasp of trending styles and offers her services during the week.
