What is SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive method of adding semi-permanent pigment to the scalp via micro needles that mimics the look of hair follicles. The number of sessions depend on individual traits and what the desired goal is.

How can I start? How long does it take?
Depending on each individual's degree of hair loss an their desired look, the sessions can be scheduled flexibly. We will always provide our recommendation to our clients.
Each session can take anywhere from 2-5 hours and clients can provide feedback to make sure they are happy with the progress. Generally for a small area (a scar or another small area affected), a minimal amount of sessions may be sufficient, else 4-8 sessions may be required to get the ideal density and coverage.

How is MICROPIGMENTATION different than getting a TATTOO?
A tattoo is permanent and goes deep into the 3rd layer of skin. This is done on the 1st layer of your dermis- no blood, no pain. Your skin regenerates and the pigments will fade with time. Our ink is also 100% natural charcoal based and the color will not change like a tattoo can.
HOW LONG BEFORE IT FADES?
It depends on your skin, your lifestyle and other variables. With proper care, it can last 6-9 years before it fades completely, but that process will be very slow. It won't discolor like a tattoo but will become lighter and fade.

IF I DECIDE TO MOVE FORWARD, WHAT'S NEXT?
Your next step is to come in for your complimentary consultation where we will review your overall goals and review pricing and the areas to be worked on. Your first section can take anywhere from 2 -4 hours depending on the plan we outlined. After your first session you will return in 2-3 weeks until your sessions are complete. At each session, we will add density until we achieve the look you desire.
DO I HAVE TO STAY HOME FROM WORK?
Although there may be slight redness of color prior to the color setting, there is no need to take off of work/ school or to stay home.
You can also wear a hat or bandana, and can work as usual. You should try to avoid workouts (sweating) or getting the area wet for a few days (specific instructions will be provided).
Will it be expensive?
Depending on your desired outcome, which will be discussed during the consultation, there are multiple options. Whether you are looking to thicken and fill in large areas for complete coverage, or just wanting to fill a small area to cover a scar, our consultants will work on the right package for you.
